Who is Pulling Your Strings?

"If you think you're thinking your own thoughts, think again." Who is Thinking Whom?

A few days ago I watched a movie called Even Almighty about a congressman who is asked by God to build an ark in preparation for a flood. Evan doesn't believe in God and refuses to build the ark until God makes his beard grow so long and his hair so unkempt that he has no choice but to stay at home and build the ark. At first, his wife doesn't support Evan and moves away with the kids but she's inspired by God to return home to support her husband.

The next day after watching the movie, as I was walking home, I thought about an email exchange I'd had earlier with an Internet friend who was still very upset about Michael Jackson's death. Suddenly, I heard someone across the road calling out to me. At first I didn't recognise the man then I realised it was the local shopkeeper whom I hadn't seen in about two weeks. The reason why I hadn't recognised him was because his beard was almost as long as Evan's in the movie. I asked him why he was growing his beard and he said he'd recently lost a loved one and, in his culture, growing his beard was his way of showing respect. I thought it was amazing how I'd been thinking of Michael Jackson's passing a few moments ago. I wished my friend my best wishes.

There's a man who lives in our neighbourhood who I sometimes see walking his dog. As I was walking through the park, I noticed a guy sitting on the park bench and he reminded me of my friend. Just as I was walking by his house, he came out of his house with his two dogs. I told him I'd been thinking of him.

The next morning when I walked by his house, I saw his car was parked outside. That evening as I was walking back, I noticed a car approaching and the driver beeped at me. It turned out to be my neighbour.

When a Facebook friend posted a line from Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar when Caesar realises his best friend, Brutus, had been part of his assassination plot, I told my friend that I'd studied the book at school. The next day, a friend emailed me a story about a dog that had been trained by the military and the dog's name was Brutus.

We all like to think we are making our own decisions and thinking our own original thoughts. What most people don't realise is that they are mere puppets on a string acting out recycled thoughts in the collective human consciousness. That's fine when the thoughts you're picking up are in harmony with who you are. What happens when the thoughts are not in your own best interest? How would you even know what's best for you if you're too busy thinking?

I believe one way to avoid acting out people's thoughts is to know yourself, not as you've been humanly programmed, but to go beyond the programming and practise being in the silence. Then you are free of indoctrination and can make decisions as your authentic self.

Otherwise, your plans and aspirations are nothing more than strings that someone else is pulling to make you dance.

The Mummy Awakens

Another of my favourite films is The Mummy which has adventure, romance, and lots of slapstick humour that's right up my alley. I have to say I've watched that film lots of times and I never get bored of seeing it.

The film is about some archaeologists in search of treasures. When one of them reads the Book of the Dead and accidentally resurrects Imhotep, an Egyptian who was mummified while still alive thousands of years ago, there are disastrous and hilarious consequences. Because Imhotep is immortal, the archaeologists's mortal weapons have no effect on him and he grows so powerful, he's unstoppable. Imhotep is finally defeated when someone reads from the Book of the Dead and the words makes Imhotep mortal and he's killed. Before he dies, Imhotep vows revenge and does return in the sequel "The Mummy Returns" another great movie, but that's another story.

I believe awakening to our nature as Spirit is rather like waking the mummy within which has been asleep for a very long time. The way of Spirit is baffling to mortals.

The Universal Mummy is stirring in many people and people are becoming conscious of their nature as Spirit.

Let the adventure begin!

Love Does It Again!

About 5 minutes away from home, I felt darkness descending and my vision going signifying a possible migraine. I thought to myself: "There's nothing wrong with me!" By the time I arrived home, my eyesight was almost gone. So I sat in front of the television and kept repeating to myself: "I see only Love. I feel only Love." At the time, my favourite newsreader Riz Lateef was reading the news. As I repeated the affirmations, my vision cleared and Riz looked more beautiful than ever. I LOVE her, she's so full of enthusiasm, even when she is presenting doom and gloom!

Love dissolved the slight thud I was experiencing on one side of my head, which is not surprising if I feel only Love. I even had some food with no effect after all, there was nothing wrong with me or my appetite.

My mother couldn't believe I'd experienced a "migraine" and that it had dissolved so quickly.

Thank you, Love! Thank you Love Riz. :-)

Harmless Fun - Revisited

As I was walking home, I spotted this white guy with shaven head walking ahead. I had this sudden urge to stroke his head.

"Your head is so tempting," I said to him. "Can I stroke it?"

Although his head felt damp from sweat, it felt really nice and prickly.

"He's a babe magnet, you know," his friend walking beside him chuckled.

"You're just jealous I haven't stroked your head," I said to him.

"I'm heading that way too," he laughed.

I could see what he meant; his head had a lot more hair but he had a receding hairline. After stroking his head, I wished them good evening.

Funnily enough, I noticed lots more bald guys after that. I reckon the word had gone out that there was a mad woman going about stroking bald heads and they all wanted part of the action. Unfortunately for them, I'd had my fill of stroking men's head for the day.

Reminds me of a Scottish wedding I once went to where the guys wore kilts. I got chatting to the guys, as you do, about their kilts. As I was very curious about their sporrans, I asked one guy what it was made of. Without thinking, I even stroked it. My friend later pointed out to me that it's not advisable to stroke a man's sporran. No wonder I had been so popular at that wedding with the guys, they were probably hoping to have their sporrans stroked too. :-)

Life is full of harmless fun.

It All Happened a Moment Ago

When I met up with a friend I hadn't seen in a few months, she told me I was still looking the same. She said I always look timeless.

"When was the last time I saw you?" she said. "Was it 2 or 3 months ago?"

"Dunno, it only seems like yesterday to me," I said.

"I can't believe the time has flown by so quickly," my friend said.

In truth, even though a lot has happened since I last saw my friend, in my reality, I only saw her a moment ago. I feel the same way about meeting friends I haven't seen in a while. When we meet again, it only seems like it happened a moment ago.

Reminds me of a vision I once had when I saw all time, all events, happening in an instant.

All relationships and experiences, etc have already happened and they all took place a moment ago. That "moment ago" is rather like a DVD that is now being played out in what we consider to be time/space and dimensions

Because I'm watching the DVD out of time or where there is no time, I am no longer experiencing time passing like most people. So it's not surprising really that I appear timeless. How can I age when no time passes?

The wonderful thing about knowing that life in its infinite variations has already happened is that I know everything works out. How do I know? Because I have seen the end of the movie and it is very good.

What is Blind Faith?

A lot of the buses in London, at least the ones I travel on, now have the Announcer technology that announces the destination and bus stops throughout the journey. I believe this is very useful for blind people or those who who are not familiar with the area.

On the bus I was on, the Announcer was announcing the right stops at the wrong time. The computer was obviously not programmed properly. The bus driver didn't seem to be paying much attention to correct it either. Maybe, she was aware of the error but didn't care.

It got me thinking. What if there was a blind passenger who trusted in the Announcer and when he heard his stop, he got off believing he was at the right stop when he should actually get off at the next one? He might lose his sense of direction; for a short while at least.

The other day I saw this woman walking her son to school and she asked me what the time was. As I don't wear a watch, I took out my mobile and told her. She said to her son that they had 15 minutes to get to school. I was amazed that she and her son were planning their journey based on the information I had given them. For all I know, my clock could have been fast, slow or even stopped.

The above examples got me thinking of blind faith. Trusting that the bus Announcer is announcing the right stops is blind faith. The woman who had asked me the time seemed to have blind faith in me.

Do I have blind faith?

I have faith in the Infinite Self in all whose nature is infallible and whose intention is always good. By "good" I mean It always wants what it is best for me.

Because of that conviction, I know I will never ask someone the time and be given the wrong answer. I will never ask someone for directions and be sent in the opposite direction. I will always be sent people and experiences that are good for me. When things don't seem to be going my way, I know that it's still working for the best.

There have been times when I haven't totally trusted and ended up going on a wild goose chase, but it has always worked out for good anyway.

Yes, I do have blind faith.

I have blind faith in the infallibility and infinite love of the Infinite Self in all.

All things work out for good.

There is Nothing Wrong

When I read at an Internet forum that someone had gone to hospital, I was not interested in the details. I simply thought: "There is nothing wrong." Then I left a comment that I was thinking of the friend.

How can I say "there is nothing wrong" when there was obviously cause for the individual to go to hospital?

Because I didn't want to get into that cause mentality. I believe when I start looking for a cause for something, I will surely find an answer, whether it's fact or fiction. But when I start from the premise that there is nothing wrong, then nothing is going to be the outcome.

I remember when I used to have pain in one knee that was so bad it kept giving way and it made me limp. I went looking for a cause for the pain. After the knee was X-rayed, they couldn't find any cause but I wasn't happy with that result; I was going to find a cause by hook or by crook. Since conventional medicine couldn't help, I sought solutions in alternative therapies. The energy healer told me the cause was a past life issue; the physiotherapist told me the cause was genetic; the chiropractor told me the cause was physiological; the osteopath said the cause was both physiological and post-traumatic; the acupuncturist told me the cause was a blockage in my energy centres; the homeopath told me the cause was emotional. And so my quest continued leading me to train and become a practitioner of Reiki, NLP and Pranic Healing. I also studied shamanic healing and spiritual healing. These various models of healing suggested that the cause was emotional and mental. I still wasn't healed.

It was only after I depleted my funds and got desperate that I turned to God and asked for help. I was shown a vision of myself running. Not long after, I was inspired to run for a bus and I found my knee to be perfect.

My point is while I was out looking for a cause, all I kept finding were more possible causes, while the effect (pain) stubbornly remained. When I asked God for help, I was shown myself as already perfect, so perfect that I can run. In other words, God showed me that there was nothing wrong with me and that nothing was made manifest as healing.

No matter how things appear, stop looking for a cause. Just keep remembering that there is nothing wrong and it's all good. Then whatever it is will be erased and replaced by that which is good for all time.

When I see cause as nothing the effect will also be nothing.

Marathon Match

It's a shame the marathon tennis match at Wimbledon that went on for 11 hours and 5 minutes (over 3 days) between John Iser and Nicolas Mahut finally ended. (John Iser won).

I was hoping it would go on for another month or two.

My Spirit Guide

Thank you, Yoda, for being my constant guide. :-)

Feeling Hot, Feeling Cold

A woman nearly twice my size sat beside me on the bus and when her arm rubbed against mine, it felt very cool.

"Wow, you feel cool!" I touched her arm.

"I've just been in the tube," she said, "and it was hot down there."

"You are very cool, considering."

She touched my arm and said, "You feel hot!"

"Yeah, I don't usually feel this hot, but I am feeling the heat today."

After chatting to my friend for about a minute, I wished her well and got off at the next stop.

We might all look humans but we don't all feel things the same way. That's why I believe it's very important to share only from my own unique sense of "I".

All my writings are based on my personal beliefs, experiences, insights, realisations. They are also my notes to self. I do not claim to speak for everyone. If people can relate good; if not, very good.

No one can feel things the way that I do.

Pollution - What's that Then?

In a news report I watched yesterday evening, they talked about how the pollution in London is getting worse and the Mayor was suggesting different ways of cutting down pollution.

Hmmm! Considering how much time I spend walking through areas that are meant to be densely polluted, why is it I don't get affected?

I believe it's all about where I put my focus. Instead of seeing London as "The Smoke" as it is affectionately called, where I'm breathing in fumes; I choose to see London as infinite love and full of boundless beauty. I, therefore, have no problem with pollution as all is love anyway.

Infinite Love is London and London is Love.

Where there is Love, I am always loved and safe.

Unexpected Joy

When I caught the bus into town, it terminated early. I figured I'd catch the one behind but it too terminated early. I decided to walk the rest of the way to my destination.

As I was using this shortcut, I thought of a friend. The last time we were together, when she took me to a fashion show, we walked through this same shortcut. I wondered how she was.

A few hours later, she sent me an email asking me if I wanted to go out to celebrate her birthday tomorrow.

I love how things work out!

Amazing Grace

Continuing the World Cup saga. :-)

In England's last game two days ago against Slovenia, England needed to win otherwise they would be knocked out of the World Cup. After they beat Slovenia 1-0 to get to the next round, I started humming 1 - Nil to the tune of Amazing Grace, like I've heard football fans sing during a match.

Today, a friend sent me a PowerPoint presentation filled with beautiful images of animals in perfect harmony. Guess what the background music was? "Amazing Grace."

Just shows that whether we are all watching the football or not, we are all joined in Love.

Now that's amazing grace!

Too Pure to Know Evil

I woke up in the middle of the night with the following thought: "Too pure to know evil."

I believe someone who is pure is able to see behind the masks and appearances to the one Light that is shining behind all masks. And "evil" is when you you are so carried away by appearances that you believe they are real. Once you can see the Light, the game is up. You realise that it is the same Light that is playing the roles of villains and heroes.

I see the Light in all.

Choosing Sides While Being on All Sides

A friend was telling me that while he was watching football with his daughter and England scored, he was so happy he lifted her up and spun her which delighted her. She wanted more goals so she could have a repeat performance. When the other side scored, his daughter cheered. My friend told her that wasn't good news for England. She obviously hasn't yet grasped the concept of choosing sides.

That's what's so wonderful about kids of a certain age - they haven't yet bought into choosing sides. Everyone is their friend until that attitude gets programmed out of them. The good news is that it's never too late to become like a child again, where you see all as your friends.

Does that mean now that you see all as your friends, you can no longer choose sides?

I believe choosing sides is part of the fun of having a human experience. It's about choosing to experience giving and receiving love in a personal way.

Even though I know the rivalry between various teams is only make-believe, I still support England in the World Cup and want them to do well. I've had such a laugh exchanging banter with friends who are supporting other teams.

Even though I know all is Love, I still have special relationships and special friends who I love more and prefer to be with more than others; and I make no apologies for doing so.

Even though I know all is Love, there are still things I love more than others.

So yes, I can still choose sides while being fully aware that I am on all sides.

Come on England!

A House Divided

"Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. Luke 11: 17
I believe love is unity. That unity could be unity with myself, my family and loved ones, associates, animals, nature, the earth, and the universe at large. When I'm fighting against myself, I'm a "house divided against itself", which will surely fall into disharmony.

One way the "house divided against itself" mentality is perpetuated is through the belief in duality i.e. there are things that good/bad; harmless/harmful; light/dark etc. Then you experience disharmony in mind and body.

Another example is what happened to the French football team in the World Cup. Apparently, after a player was expelled from the team, the rest of the team stopped cooperating with their manager. The team's disunity must have had a huge impact on their performance which led to the French team being knocked out of the World Cup. In other words, the team divided against itself led to failure. My heart goes out to the French team. I hope they learn the importance of working together as a team.

While I was working on this piece, an error message appeared notifying me that I was no longer connected. I obviously didn't want to lose what I'd written. So in thought I said "We are working together as one." Then a message popped up telling me how to get back online but before I could even follow the instructions, the problem was resolved.

No matter how things appear all is one; and we are always working together in perfect harmony.

How to Influence People

I have observed that in our hearts we all want each other to be happy and we are always willing to make each other happy. But in the human form, that's another story.

While I was sitting on the bench at the bus stop, this guy stood in front of me and was blocking my view. So I said to him in my thought: "Beloved, would you mind just shifting a bit so I can see when my bus is arriving." He moved away. In thought I said to him, "Thank you, Beloved!"

I doubt if he would have been so willing if I had asked him verbally. :-)

I believe one way to influence people is to see them as their essence, which is Infinite Love. Then they always want you to be happy.

To Manifest is to Recover Buried Memories

"Everything comes to you when you transcend the desire for it. This is the one lesson which you and I have to learn eventually. It is very tricky for it teaches 'if you want a desire to be fulfilled, just conquer that desire.' At that very moment, the desire is fulfilled. That is food for thought. Think about it. Anything you want to have, go beyond that want, and then it will be there at your feet." Siddhis or Miraculous Powers
A week ago, I thought of a friend who was meant to get in contact with me about a gig he was having but I never heard from him. I wondered how he was and if I was going to see him again. Five days later, as I was walking home using a different route, I saw my friend cycling by, but he didn't stop. We only had enough time for him to say hello and I waved hello back. At least I know he's still alive and kicking.

A while back when my email got hijacked and I couldn't access my email, I lost all my contacts. I trusted that the friends who really care will look me up on the Web and get in touch, which they did. Recently, one friend who I dated a couple of times popped up in thought. As I no longer had his contact details or his phone number, there wasn't any way to contact him. I wondered how he was and whether he was still living in London or had returned home to Turkey.

During my bus journey this morning, my friend got on the same bus. I was going to call out to him but then I realised I couldn't remember his name. He's one of the best snogs (kiss) I've ever had and I can't even remember his name. Fortunately, he had his back turned towards me. While I was frantically trying to remember his name, he turned round and started fiddling with his mobile. Any moment now he was going to look up and see me sitting there, walk over and say hello and I won't be able to remember his name. I decided I could do without the embarrassment, so I put out an intention for him not to see me. At the next stop, several passengers got on and stood in front of me, which obscured my presence. My friend got off a few stops after. Never mind, at least I got my question answered about whether he's still living in London.

As I was still curious about my friend's name, I put out an intention that I wanted to remember his name, then I stopped thinking about it. A few minutes later, his name popped up in memory.

These experiences got me thinking about desires I have yet to experience. What if I were to treat all desires as buried memories in Infinite Mind that exist in all time, all space, and all realities? In other words, instead of fretting over when and how my desires will be made manifest, all I need to do is put out the intention that I wish to remember the desires of my heart, stop giving them further thought and relax. Then, that which appears to be "buried" will surface naturally and effortlessly.

To manifest is to recover buried memories.

Joining with ET

Yesterday I watched ET - The Extraterrestrial for the umpteenth time. What I love about watching movies I love is that I get to see more stuff I haven't noticed before.

In the movie the young ET is accidentally left on earth by his family, which means he has to fend for himself until his people return. (While I believe highly evolved entities like ETs are hardly going to be separated from their offspring and not able to communicate with him telepathically, I'm going to suspend judgment as the film does have wonderful gems in it).

Back to the movie...

Fortunately for the young ET, he is discovered by a ten year old boy called Elliott who takes him home and looks after him. Elliott confides in his older brother and young sister and make them promise not to tell any adults about ET. In any case, their mother who has recently separated from her husband (their father), is so preoccupied with her concerns about life she is totally oblivious to an alien being living in the house and consuming the food in the fridge.

Although ET and Elliott have developed a strong bond, and can even communicate telepathically, ET still feels homesick and develops a technology to contact his people millions of light years away. While he's waiting to be rescued, the federal agents discover ET with Elliott, take over, and start prodding him for information. Elliott is distraught to be separated from ET. Only one federal agent, Keys, can sympathise with Elliott as he's been waiting to see an ET since he was ten years old. While ET appears to have died, Elliott loses their telepathic link. It turns out ET has only been regenerating himself. When Elliott discovers ET is still alive, he, his brother and a few friends take ET to the spot where his people arrive to take him home. As Elliott and ET say their final goodbyes, ET points to Elliott's forehead and says "I'll be right here", meaning they will always be together in thought and in their hearts.

Now before I explore what the movie means to me, a slight digression.

I believe the purpose of life is to express life as the Soul in human form, which can be achieved in two ways. You can either realise your identity as Soul; or join with one who knows their identity as Soul and they will uplift you. The second option is what happens when people follow spiritual teachers and gurus. They surrender to the teacher to lead them to enlightenment.

To me, ET represents one who has realised their nature as Soul, while Elliott represents someone who consciously chooses to associate or join with someone who knows their nature as Soul in order that they can be uplifted. In the movie, when Elliott comes across "ET", he could have easily reported him to the "authorities." Instead Elliott chooses to "adopt" him. As their relationship develops, Elliott and ET become so at one that Elliott can feel whatever ET is feeling and even thinks what ET is thinking. We get to see this srong connection being played out in the scenes where Elliott is at school and ET is at home. While Elliott is listening to his class teacher, ET is exploring the fridge at home for some food. ET drinks some beer and gets drunk. Even though Elliott hasn't drunk any, he still feels drunk. When ET burps, Elliott burps. When ET is reading a comic and is thinking of "Help", Elliott receives the thought and interprets it as the frogs, he and his classmates are about to experiment on, crying out for help. So he inspires his classmates to set the frogs free. While ET is watching a movie and the stars in the film kiss, Elliott acts on the feeling and grabs a classmate and kisses her. When ET gets sick, Elliott feels sick and says "we are sick."

In the final scenes when Elliott and his friends are trying to evade the authorities on their bicycles, Elliott tunes into ET's power which lifts them up and they're able to fly to their destination. The human Elliott could never have been able to achieve such a feat if he wasn't joined with ET. I believe if ET had stayed longer, Elliott would have become more ET than human.

If you want to be enlightened and can't be bothered to do the work of self-realisation, the fast-track method is consciously joining with someone who is already self-realised, though you still have to put the work in by constantly remembering to join in every moment. Then you get to experience what it's like to be ET, the Extraterrestrial.

Thank you, ET, for your eternal gems. Hope you are now happy at home.

The Problem with Eternal Youth

The problem with looking ageless is people can jump to the wrong conclusions. I saw this guy yesterday who I've never seen before. Presumably, he's new to our neighbourhood. When he saw where I was going, he asked me if I was going to visit my grandmother. I said yes as I couldn't be bothered to explain. I couldn't wait to tease my mother about what the man had said. She wasn't offended though as she's got used to it. Someone has even asked her if she had me later in life, which she thinks is hilarious.

In the UK, the tradition is when someone reaches the age of 100 they are sent a telegram from the Queen (or whoever is ruling at the time) to celebrate that momentous occasion. I have this fantasy of turning 100 and when someone delivers the telegram and expects to see someone old and wrinkly, they find someone looking 70 years younger. :-) That will teach them not to believe in the aging hype!

I am eternal youth now and forever.

When in Rome...Be Yourself

There is that old saying: "When in Rome, do as the Romans do."

While it may be true that to live in Rome I need to be able to speak Italian or at least know some phrases that will help get me by, I believe the most important thing is to be myself wherever I am.

What do I mean by being myself?

It means being the Me that is never born and never dies; the Me that has always been and will always be; the Me that is all knowing, all powerful and everywhere present; the Me that never changes; the Me that is uniquely me.

I have found that when I'm feeling down about something or being too serious, I'm always aware of a part of me that always sees the funny side to whatever is going on and tells me to lighten up. That is Me as pure, unborn/undying Joy.

When I'm being Me, I am doing what I love and the Universe has no choice but to reflect all that I am back at me.

So back to the saying about Rome, I could very well meet someone who speaks English and offers to be my guide so I don't need to speak a word of Italian.

I remember when I went to visit a friend in Thailand. When I didn't see my friend at the airport, I panicked and decided to call her at home. At the pay phone, I realised I didn't have any change on me. As I can't speak any Thai, I couldn't ask anyone for change. Suddenly this Thai guy appeared and handed me his mobile phone and motioned for me to call. There was no response as my friend had already left. I thanked my Thai friend for the use of his phone. It turned out my friend was at the airport, we were just at different exits. And during my stay in Bangkok, I didn't need to speak one word of Thai.

When in Rome, be yourself at all times.

Playing Host

As I'm writing this, the World Cup is currently being hosted by South Africa. This means South Africa provides the resources needed for all the matches and the fans. Every time there is a match, people in different countries who are interested in the game can tune in to receive satellite signals from South Africa and watch the game. I have a friend who has organised his work and social life around the football as it's very important to him.

I believe the ONE/Self/Mind is the Host of all abundance, beauty, good, intelligence, love, peace, power, wealth, and wonder. Every moment, we all have the choice to tune in and receive what the Host has to offer, which is limitless.

Just like countries can apply to host the World Cup, each individual can also choose whether they want to play Host or not. In order to play Host you have to have the resources needed. When you wake up to your identity as Infinite Light or become Self-Realised, you are effectively playing Host. As the Host, you can send out signals to all parts of the infinite universe, and people can tune in to receive from you. You can then choose whether you want to play Host to the all for a limited amount of time; or choose to only play Host to yourself, loved ones and those who resonate with you.

Just as there are billions who have no interest in watching football, there are also many who have no interest in receiving from the Host or becoming Host. They would rather just do their own thing. That is perfectly OK.

We are all free to play Host, tune in and receive from Host, or do as we please. There is no judgment whatever path one chooses.

The Awakener

When I noticed a friend had sent me his email at 11:11 pm, it made me think of the belief many people have that certain recurring numbers like 11:11 are wake-up calls being brought to our attention by our invisible friends to remind us that there is more to life than what meets the eye.

While I do believe in wake-up calls, I believe the one sending the wake-up calls is no other than yours truly - me as my Universal Self. Since it is I who put myself to "sleep" in order to enter this dream we call life, it is now I calling to myself to wake up; I who is giving myself experiences that are reminding me of who I am; and I correcting any misperceptions I hold about myself.

The stories on my blogs are reminders of how I, as the Awakener, am waking up myself to who I am. The stories are also I, as pure Energy, constantly bombarding my human self with the "Stay True to Yourself" and "Remember Who You Are" frequencies, which act as my constant guide.

Because these frequencies are constantly being sent out indiscriminately into the "cosmos", anyone who resonates with my beliefs will be inspired to "wake up" and be true to who they are. Even if they never get to read my articles or meet me in person, they will still be inspired, if they are open to that idea.

I am the Awakener.
I am wide awake now and forever!

I Never Walk Alone - Revisited

For some reason there was a huge traffic jam on this particular road, which was very unusual. The reason was because a car was blocking the way. I seized the opportunity to run across the road. I noticed the registration number of the car that was blocking the road had the same initials as a dear friend. I saw that as a sign that my friend was right there accompanying me on my journey.

Later when I checked my email, I noticed two emails from the same friend; both were sent around the same time I had been crossing the road.

I have observed a lot of my helpers tend to remind me of loved ones or things I love.

It's good to know that even though we're far apart, I never walk alone.

I am always loved and safe.

Any scientist would tell you anyway that whenever there is an injury, the intelligence in the cells start working to heal it. I believe that mechanism is the Self-Correction (SC) facility which we are all born with. The SC is an intelligent force that kicks in whenever there is any form of disharmony. However, we are constantly being bombarded with images to make us forget about the SC and rely on external solutions like popping pills and particular products. Obviously, someone gets to benefit from our slumber.

Regardless what the System would have us believe, I know I have a SC facility that is not only very much aware of what's going on in my experience in every moment, it is always active. The purpose of my SC is to correct and erase any misperceptions I have of myself. Since all that I am experiencing are projection of mind, all corrections take place in my consciousness, which leads to a shift in perspective. Where there is a shift of perspective, the outer projection is either transformed or erased from my experience.

For instance, as I was pondering on these ideas and taking a walk, I started sneezing. I'm aware that the collective belief states that it's the season of pollen and pollen causes irritation and makes you sneeze. The SC facility begged to differ. He reminded me that there is no such thing as a pollen as Love is all there is and Love is harmony. In other words, when SC corrected my perception of reality, what I experienced was relief and no more nasal irritation. As I still had a runny nose, I wished for my nostril to clear up without actually blowing it. I continued focusing on my thoughts. After a few minutes, my nostril cleared up.

I have observed my SC acts as a deterrent and protection against injury. I once experienced the SC at work as an invisible Hand that pulled me out of harm's way just as I was about to be hit by a van. When I feel alone, I feel the SC as a loving companion and Its presence is as tangible as someone giving me a hug.

With my SC system, there's no need for external teachers and healers. All I need to remember is to let my SC do Its work.

Song of the Day - 19

"Say What You Want" by Texas.

Reality Depends on Me

"When I see and know something as not having any reality, it ceases to have any reality." Only Love Has Any Reality
When someone is acting the part of someone sick in a TV/film drama or play, I don't take his role seriously as I know it's not real.

My mother had the flu recently and was coughing and sneezing. Although I acted as if what she was going through was real and even bought her stuff to help make her feel better, I knew I couldn't catch it because what she was experiencing wasn't real for me.

I believe the reason why I catch an illness is because I've treated the condition or the person with the condition as real. The moment I remember that it's not real, whatever I've caught becomes nothing.

Only Love has any reality and Love is wholeness.

You are Loved and Safe!

On my way home, I saw a woman walking this beautiful Dalmatian dog. When I reached out to stroke it, the dog's owner pulled her away and told me she was a very nervous dog and scared of people. In thought, I told the dog that she was loved and safe. The dog came towards me. I put out my hand and she sniffed it. The woman said I must be very lucky as the dog doesn't usually approach people she doesn't know. I'm not surprised really as the dog had sensed my intention that I only wanted to love her.

Although I didn't get to stroke her, she was happy to sniff my hand and we parted as friends.

I hope my friend always remembers that she is loved and safe in every moment!

Ps: This piece is in loving memory of a dear friend.

Dog Mobile

I noticed this guy walking his dog. The dog stopped off at a tree to have a pee and have a good sniff.

I said to the man, "He has to mark his territory, doesn't he?"

"Yes, it's his dog mobile. He uses it to keep in contact with what other dogs have been up to and who's who in the neighbourhood."

My friend's comment made me chuckle. He introduced himself and his dog and shook my hand. I told him my name and wished them both a good day.

People are funny!

Song of the Day - 18

"PDA (We Just Don't Care)" by John Legend.

It's All Good!

Sometimes life doesn't seem to unfolding perfectly or is it?

Last night when I heard my mother coughing, I sent her love and wished her well. When I woke up this morning she was still feeling poorly. I asked her if she wanted me to get her something for her cough and cold. She said she was thinking of making some soup which she believes will help relieve her cold and wondered if I could get some ingredients from the supermarket.

As I was walking to the supermarket I thought to myself that it's a shame my mother is not open to receive Love directly. She wouldn't need to go through the hassle of preparing a special soup which she has to pay for, she will be healed for free. I would be doing my own thing instead of going shopping. Oh well, I guess that's her way of letting Love work through her. It's all good!

A few minutes later I saw a friend walking towards me. We met a while back at this art gallery and attended a function a few days later. Although we are now friends on Facebook, I haven't seen her in person since. After exchanging hugs, she told me what she was up to. It was wonderful to catch up.

So my mother's approach to Love may not have been mine, but at least it led me to connect with another love.

It's all good.

Time Travel - Revisited

I believe though time can appear to go backward or forward, all time is occurring now.

Here are a few examples of time travelling.

Before I started sharing my experiences on the Internet, I was inspired to do so from within. When I pointed out to myself that I didn't have the resources nor did I know what to write about, I told myself that everything I needed was already available, I simply needed to trust in myself. Since then I have written thousands of articles which I've posted on the Internet. You could say, in order to accomplish my mission, I had to travel to my future self who had already had the experience.

Just recently I received an email from a reader who wanted to thank me for an article I wrote six years ago. It's interesting that when the piece was first published, although the reader and I were experiencing the same present i.e. 2004, he had no desire to read it as it was obviously not pertinent to his life experience until six years later in 2010. Thus, the reader is time travelling from the future to the past.

I also find there are times when I have to revisit experiences I'd written about years ago to help me resolve situations now i.e. 2010. In other words, I'm time travelling from the future to the past.

The above examples I've shared are conscious time travelling. There are times when you can be doing unconscious time travelling.

In the movie, Sex and the City 2, although Carrie is now married to the man of her dreams, she's still not happy as she's discovered that her idea of a good night out is going out, while John's idea of a good night out is staying in and watching black and white movies. Because they've decided not to have kids, this means they are going to be spending a whole lot of time together either indoors or being in disagreement.

When Samantha invites Carrie and her two friends to spend a week in Abu Dhabi, Carrie jumps at the opportunity to have fun with the girls. During the trip, Carrie bumps into her past love, Aidan, the man she almost married, and they go out to dinner. Then one thing leads to another and they end up kissing. Carrie is appalled at what has happened and feels so guilty she immediately confides in her friends and asks for their advice. Even though she's advised not to say anything or to at least sleep on it before she tells her husband, Carrie decides to call John and confess all. Although John forgives her, he gets her to make a vow that she will only kiss him and no one else.

I believe the reason why Carrie had time travelled to her past life i.e. attracted Aidan was because she was too busy dreaming about her past life. Since Aidan and Carrie are both married they had no future anyway. It was only when Carrie realised that she already had all she ever dreamed of in the present that she was able to focus on the present.

The reverse is also true. Sometimes one can be in a relationship that is long dead and belongs to the "past" but for whatever reason you are still holding on to that relationship. Therefore, while you appear to be moving into the future, in truth you keep revisiting the past.

I believe time travelling is simply a shift of focus and is occurring all the time consciously or unconsciously.

Happy travelling!

Living in the Moment is Winning One Match at a Time

The FIFA World Cup is starting tomorrow. I'm sure all the countries participating in the event are dreaming of winning the World Cup. I feel that's a lot of pressure being put on the players. If I were the Manager or team captain, I would encourage my team to only focus on winning each match. In other words, stop thinking about the future, focus only on the present moment. The team that wins all their matches is guaranteed to win the World Cup.

I believe every day is the equivalent of a football match. All I'm interested in is winning at whatever I'm doing in every moment, which builds up to the next and the next until it leads to the Cup.

I am victorious in every moment.

Glowing in the Dark

When I looked at my face in the mirror this morning, I noticed a tiny diamante of light on my chin sparkling back at me. It was good to see my old "friend." Sometimes I get sparkles of light on my arms.

An ex-boyfriend used to tell me that my body glows while I am asleep. I've also noticed when I wake up in the middle of the night and go to the bathroom, my skin is actually glowing. It's not surprising really as I am Light.

It's good to be reminded that who I am is not flesh and bone but effulgent light appearing as flesh and bone.

The Power of Joy

Joy is not just a word that describes an inner state. Joy is very real.

I only have to think of Joy and I find myself smiling for no reason. Then the feeling takes over and makes me act in a joyful way. Sometimes I even get playful.

I then attract more experiences that make me feel joyful.

I've also observed that my complexion changes too when I think of Joy. I look more radiant and younger. I also experience a sweet taste in my mouth.

If I'm with someone when I'm thinking of Joy they pick up on the vibe and start acting joyful.

When I think Joy, I feel joyful, and attract lots of experiences to make me feel joyful.

I am Infinite Joy.

Calling All Superbeings

As I was walking home yesterday, I suddenly had really bad period cramps. I had two choices. I could either find somewhere to rest until the pain has subsided; or I could just focus on the Love in me which knows nothing of pain. I called on Love. As I continued walking the cramp was dissolved.

I have to admit that I do find it frustrating that with my conviction about Love's omnipresence that I still experience pain. It's been eleven years since I stopped taking medication and started relying on spiritual healing and truth principles. Previously, I had to take tablets every day for migraines. I also used to take large doses of vitamins and mineral supplements. I did have a "relapse" four years later when I fell ill and had to be taken to casualty. I was even put on a drip and given pills. As soon as I left the hospital I didn't take any more pills and haven't done so ever since.

Even after so many years of not taking pills or going to doctors, I have had migraines on and off. What I've observed, however, is that my consciousness, which I have been training like a dog, is no longer resisting my commands. In fact, my "dog" is surrendering quickly to the commands of Love. For instance, two days ago while I was working in the library, I started getting symptoms of migraines i.e. loss of vision. I decided I didn't have time to mess about. Besides, I was miles away from home. So I called on Love in me to do the necessary and within an hour my vision was restored and the headache dissolved. I even walked the 6 miles home later.

Now I know the ultimate way of being is to express wholeness in every moment, which I haven't as yet mastered. I'm wondering if there are any people on this planet right now who no longer get sick and neither do they grow old. I'm not interested in figures written about in scriptures and spiritual literature, nor am I interested in channelled teachings by "ascended masters." Anyone can have lofty ideas; I want to see demonstrations of these ideas in every day life.

I would really love to hear from real people, superbeings, who are expressing perfection, wholeness and eternal youth in form, and perfection in their affairs now. My email is: theoneinall@googlemail.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

In the meantime, I look forward to the day when there will no longer be any need to give my "dog" any commands.

Song of the Day - 16

"Shine" by Laura Izibor.

Song of the Day - 15

"Another Part of Me" by Michael Jackson.

We're Sendin' Out
A Major Love
And This Is Our
Message To You
(Message To You)
The Planets Are Linin' Up
We're Bringin' Brighter Days
They're All In Line
Waitin' For You
Can't You See . . .?
You're Just Another Part Of Me
Another Part Of Me . .

We're Takin' Over
This Is The Truth, Baby
Another Part Of Me

Stripping to the Bare Essentials

In order to be mySelf I needed to go through the "stripping process." The stripping process involves letting go of false beliefs arising from ancestral, cultural, religious and social indoctrination that keep one in bondage, which is in total opposition to my essence whose nature is Innocence and Freedom.

The actual "stripping" process can either take time or can happen in an instant. However it occurs, it is that moment when I realised that my essence or real Self is empty and void of all concepts, dogmas and doctrines. I have also experienced the Self as the effulgent Light shining in all and knowing that Light is the only Intelligence, Life and Source. There is only one Self and Self is Ultimate Reality.

The first time I experienced myself as Self was after I was hit by a car. I was ten years old at the time. Although my experience of Self was only a fleeting experience, it made me realise that I am everywhere and in all things. The next time I experienced myself as the Light was during meditation. After merging with the Light I was reluctant to return to my human form. There did come a point though after I'd had many experiences of merging with Self when I was "asked" whether I wanted to continue life as this human form or leave. I felt at that time, I wasn't ready as there was a lot I wanted to experience. Speaking of which, I have read many accounts of people who have had near death experiences (NDEs) and have merged with the Light and have been asked whether they wanted to return to the human state or not. It just shows, you don't have to "die" to die. I have to say I have had urges to "leave" but I'm still here. :-)

Back to the stripping process. The first step is realisation of Self. If you choose to continue living in this reality, the next step is reprogramming i.e. living with the awareness that all is Self whether they appear to be humans, animals, plants, pebbles, or whatever. Put another way, the Universe becomes Self-aware and acts accordingly in what could be considered "magical." Living in a Self-aware universe is rather like walking towards a building and the doors, which have sensors, automatically open as soon as they sense someone's presence.

I believe the "stripping process" is not something that can be done on someone's behalf no matter how much you love them. Everyone has to experience the awakening to their Essence for themselves or they can choose not to.

Stripping to the bare essentials is a lot of fun and highly recommended, if you're up for it.

Quote of the Day - 8

"That which we chase runs from us, whether health, wealth, success, or right relations. To be as Jesus means to be still and become that which we seek, that which we already are and have in the completeness of our being. Then everything we desire through our vision of the ideal life will literally chase us...."

"When we finally stop seeking in the realization that we have everything now, the glory of Consciousness fills our hearts and minds. And to the frenzied illusions and dancing appearances of our world, Consciousness speaks the word: Be still and know that I am God." The Jesus Code, by John Randolph Price, p. 138

Thought of the Day - 5

When I am reading stories in a novel or in the scriptures, if I treat them as mythical, then they will only be mythical in my experience. In other words, as soon as I've finished reading the stories they will cease to have any meaning for me.

On the other hand, when I treat the stories as facts or actual events, they will not only be real in my consciousness, I will even be able to duplicate the experiences.

It matters not whether a story is fact or fiction, what matters is what I choose to believe as real.

Simple Love

There doesn't have to be any deep and meaningful reason why I love the things I love. There's no deep reason why I love Snickers chocolate. There's no rational explanation for my passion for aeroplanes so much so that I occasionally take trips to airports just to watch them land and take off.

I could love someone without having a thing in common with that person.

There's no logic to love.

I love what I love and who I love because I do. Simple.

More about the Power of Love

So I was sitting outside enjoying the sunshine munching on a doughnut. When I saw a pigeon, I tossed a piece at it which it gobbled up. When I threw another piece, I attracted more pigeons and they were soon scrambling over the food. I noticed one pigeon only had one foot and had no chance against the others so I decided to assist him by focusing all my attention on him.

I aimed the next piece at my hopping friend but he was too slow and another pigeon got there first. I really wanted my friend to get the food. Maybe if there are fewer pigeons he'll have more of a chance. So I wished for the other pigeons to go away. While there were only a few pigeons hovering, I threw a piece at my limping friend. He caught it just in time. Yay! I threw another piece but another pigeon got it. Bloody pigeon!

Come on, love, I want you to have the next piece!

When I tossed the piece, my friend caught it. Good! You're getting faster too! I threw another piece and another one went for it but it fell out of its beak and my friend got it. Yes! OK, here is the last piece for you, mate! I threw it and my friend caught it.

I thought it was interesting how my love for the pigeon was not only magnetising to him the food I wanted him to have, my love was also repelling the other pigeons. My love for the injured pigeon also gave him so much power he was able to move faster than the few pigeons that were still hovering. Maybe, they knew they couldn't compete with the passion I was feeling for my friend.

That's the power of love, it gives you wings. Haha! OK, my friend already had wings but my love gave him super-power.

Love magnetises, Love repels, Love nourishes and Love empowers.

All power to Love.
